Ministry of Sound
In response to a D&AD brief I created a series of posters promoting the Saturday Sessions event held by Ministry of Sound . The brief was Typography focused set by Studio Output and sponsored by Ministry of Sound. The aim of the brief was to advertise the club night Saturday Sessions. I used a mixture of flat typography to create the layout one of my main aims was trying to develop something that would stand out from your average club poster. I The concept is the minimalist style of typography to emphasis the words I streched the letters to create impact.
Winter trees book
Winter Trees is part of my FMP (final year project) the book focus in typography and photography it focus on visual imagery and words it sharply tries to engage the viewer thru images and words. The poems are from William Carlos Williams an American Poet, he said:“For it must not be forgot that we smell, hear and see •with words and words alone, and that with a new language we smell, hear and see afresh” In this quote I founded inspiration is what I wanted to achieve I wanted my audience to feel smell and imagine the surroundings. Two of his poems “winter trees & approach of winter” were used on the project The concept of the book is a mirror book two in one it has no way to start you can open from back to front, or front to back. I created a short film in to emphasise the whole experience while seeing the images, and reading the words in order to have the all sense of smell, hearing and seeing.

myseLf & I
The Brief was to create a personal magazine called “ Me myself & I” The concept on the magazine was to focus mainly on the day that I was born, name faith and believes. The represents birth, a new beginning, a new addittion to the world and will forever be remembered until death and thename the meaning of my name, because that is the 1st question we ask when we meet someone, is what we a known for by other people but the meaning of it is often unknown on not questioned. The naming of people is a fascinating subject that varies so much around the world and tells us so much about a country or society. Everywhere names mean something, but often the meaning has been lost or obscured by time. Behind this forbidding word lies an utterly absorbing subject that tells us so much about history, geography, tradition and culture.
